Founded on April 24, 1988, in the heart of Viseu, CASABLANCA – BAR was born with the ambition of combining good food with a welcoming atmosphere. From the beginning, it distinguished itself by focusing on fish and seafood, bringing the taste of the sea to the interior of the country at a time when this was uncommon.

Over the years, Casablanca has evolved into a renowned seafood restaurant. It has created dishes that have marked generations and helped define its identity, such as the various seafood rice dishes, cataplanas, and emblematic specialties like the Sinfonia do Mar (Symphony of the Sea) and the Grelhada Terra/Mar (Surf/Land Grill).
